Bestimmte Materialien, wie zum Beispiel Vorhänge oder Teppiche, fangen diese Schallwellen auf und wandeln die Schallenergie in Wärmeenergie um. Glatte Oberflächen reflektieren hingegen die Schallwellen. Also je leerer die Wände, je höher die Decken und je größer die Fensterfronten, desto öfter können die produzierten Schallwellen reflektiert werden und desto mehr Schallenergie fängt sich in einem Raum.

Acoustic panels are sound-absorbing elements that improve room acoustics. They are made of materials into which the sound waves penetrate and are converted into thermal energy. We cannot feel the resulting heat, but we can hear it.
You can find acoustic panels on the market under the names sound absorbers, acoustic elements, acoustic panels, sound absorbers or acoustic images.
There are acoustic panels for them wall or the ceiling, to buy individually or in a set. The walls in recording studios that look like black egg cartons are well known. However, there are also stylish and modern variants.

WHAT MATERIAL IS A SILENT4 ACOUSTIC PANEL MADE OF?
Our elements essentially consist of acoustic fleece or acoustic wool. Both materials absorb up to 100% of the frequencies in the human voice range, making them ideal for use in sound absorption. The acoustic fleece consists of 60% recycled PET and, like the acoustic wool, can itself be recycled.
Most wall and ceiling panels are covered withcolorful acoustic fabrics, some acoustic panels made of PET acoustic fleece you can buy with a thermally bonded surface.
The wall panels made of PET fleece are also useable as pin boards. In this way, you not only ensure an improvement in the room acoustics, but also more order in the office or at home.
ACOUSTIC PANELS FOR WALLS AND CEILINGS – INSTALLATION
Often acoustic solutions are associated with modifications. Not so with us. Our acoustic panels can be installed in the rooms afterwards.
The wall panels are attached to the wall either with an adhesive mount or with screws.
Our ceiling panels hang from the ceiling with screw hooks or ropes. You can adjust the rope length individually and align the plates optimally.
Our acoustic panels with rock wool and wooden frames are a very special variant. These screw hooks allow you a fastening to the wall AND the ceiling - just as you need it at the moment!
It doesn't matter which variant you choose, the mounting material is definitely included!
